Well, I finally feel like I've made progress with this quilt! It seems like it has gone really slowly, but I guess since I had to do embroidery, then applique...then piecing...and try to figure out what I wanted to do as I went along...anyway I did get some of the blocks sewn together today. DH was happy, but not as excited as I felt he should be, so I'm sharing with ya'll instead.
I haven't sewn down the "Our Little Boy" applique banner for the top yet..doing that now. I think I will do a 1" border with the peach, then a 3" outer border with the frogs, then bind with the red. What do ya'll think? Isn't that frog fabric the cutest??? I couldn't believe I found it..ran across it the other day and ordered it from Thousands of Bolts. Here are the border/binding options along with the froggie fabric for the border and back.
