Some years ago (can't remember just when, but it's been quite a while), I took a Guild workshop on paper piecing. This is "The Little Neighborhood", one of my first paper pieced quilts, and one of the first times I tried some free motion quilting too! It's been hanging on my entertainment center for a long time & I still love looking at it! :D

Very cute, one of those wall quilts you wouldnt mind having your first cup of coffee in the morning and sitting back and just enjoying the colors. I especially like the quilting on the sides.. I prefer simple quilting to over quilting any day of the week.

I have to say I love your photo of the puppy in armour. It makes me giggle every time I see it. Fantastic costume !

It is really darling. I like the simple fmq also. Some quilts get over quilted and are stiff and not very cozy.
