A friend has a community sponsored fundraiser to help defray cancer treatment costs. These two little quilts are going to help raise funds.
1. Charming bricks--bricks finish at 1/2 x 1 inch. Overall quilt 7 1/4 x 10 1/2 inches.
2. Chained to the Barn Door--blocks are 1 1/2". Overall quilt 6 x 8 inches. Scanned picture is bigger than actual quilt:shock:

Once again, OKSGlad, exceptional work!!!!
As you can well imagine, I am partial to the Chained to the Barn Door ... colour, theme ... and the OMG itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny piecing! :D

All goes to prove the old saying ... Little Things Make Big Differences! :)

QUILTNMO 03-10-2013 10:50 AM

they are both very nice!!!!

oksewglad 03-10-2013 05:44 PM

Thanks everyone. I like making the tiny ones for fundraisers as often they bring in the amount of money needed for the amount of work that goes into them. Yes they aren't very big, but they do take time.
On a side note I call these my Serendipity quilts as what's in my scrap bin is what decides color and design. Those little 4P's were made from some long 3/4" strips I had--probably trimmings from another quilt's backing.
