Really sweet! I'm not a Grandma yet, but looking forward to it. Glad my daughter and son are growing up first, ages 21 and 33, before they have children!

What a lovely idea!!! Thanks for sharing!! I have grand-children too, so any new idea is always welcome :)
|
Wow! You are a great grandmother for a special little girl!

Very cute!!

That's the kind of thing I usually have to do also.....being creative...because I live in a small town without dept. stores and etc. and I can't drive anywhere (visually impaired) so I have to do with what I have on hand. Your DGD will be thrilled and we Grandmothers love making the grandchildren happy (especially when they least expect it). Thanks for sharing.

There's an envelope INSIDE the project? That helps it to be stiff? Does it dull a needle to go through the thicker paper? This is a new idea for me--although I am aware there are quilted postcards... |
I think you have struck on a lovely idea.....the mugrug gift card holder! I can see this as a great gift when you want to give cash or a gift card, plus a bit of yourself...a hug made of cotton! Lovely idea...really lovely!

That is such a "grandma thing" to do! I just love the idea. Thanks for sharing!
