This is one of my favorite patterns, partly because it shows off the really nice novelty fabrics, and partly because it is really quick. I decide on the size of the squares I start with based on 1/4 of the usable width of the fabric, so they can be 9.5 to 11". I use any of the many HST blocks that appeal to me.
