Then you just trim the blocks up and piece then QAYG method - pieced and quilted in one hit! I did a log cabin using muslin foundation piecing once and it sounds like much the same thing, adding the batting and backing. I haven't done a QAYG before but it's on the list to try.

Pam, I love the colors! I think log cabins are one of my favorites. You did a wonderful job :thumbup:

Pam, You certainly are talented. I love seeing all the beautiful quilts you make. Log cabins are really nice, so many ways to put them together.

btw...how is that beautiful new grandson??? Did you start a quilt for him yet?

My grandson is doing just great. :)

I'm in Pittsburg, California. It's in the San Francisco Bay Area, called East Bay. I was born and raised in a town nearby.

I thought not Pittsburgh PA....no H at the end lol. I am somewhat familiar with East Bay. I have a cousin who lives in Pacifica. She has friends in East Bay and we visit sometimes when i am there.
