Honestly, I'm not sure what color I'm going to paint his room. I really like the light color on the top of the walls, but it is almost too light. I'll probably go with a slightly darker neutral.

He was so cute tonight when he went into his room for bed. He told me, "Momma, I love my new quilt. It looks old like my bed. I really like how old it looks." Mission accomplished!

Wow this turned out lovely! Taking more time to square up each block made the finished product perfect. It looks perfect with the bed frame.

Wonderful color combination, and your accuracy is beautifully done. RE:your QAYG -- what method did you use? I want to qayg a reversible quilt with blocks sewn together in the regular fashion on one side but have the other side be log cabin. I was wondering if this could be achieved by having the outside 'logs' of each log cabin block be wider than the other logs -- thinking I could fold them over and topstitch down like sashings - ???

The Gourmet Quilter has a great tutorial for QAYG. No hand sewing.
