My mother made the bocks for a Nebraska State flower & bird quilt (all hand embroideried before she was married in 1948. Then she finally pieced and quilted the quilt in the '60's. It is one of my favorites.

She also just made this broken star quilt (and I quilted it) that i just love. I hope i am still quilting at 88.

Lovely! Is that being displayed at the Nebraska State Fair??
A classmate of mine has a long arm booth at the State Fair. Wish I was still in Nebraska right now.
