Elle This quilt is spectacular! I am making a quilt for my nephew for his wedding but it won't be this fancy! I wonder do young couples really appreciate what they are being given when they get a quilt as a gift. Michael's quilt finished will be over 250.00 (sending it out to be longarmed too...)and that doesn't count my time. Would he prefer the money in a card? |
Very Beautiful.

Mamagus, this is using a pattern using strips as well....I took a class at our local fabric shop. It is actually very simple as long as long as you keep the 1/4" and 45 degree angles accurate. It was a mutual gift from my friend of over 28 years and I. My friend (groom's mom) bought the fabric and I pieced and quilted it. She said they loved it (the brides mother is a seamstress) so I think they do appreciate all the work. When it comes right down to it...I did it for my friend, she is very special to me.
