Gorgeous toppers! You did a wonderful job on them.

vintagemotif 12-14-2010 11:00 PM

Very pretty! You should do a tutorial on your method since your work is very beautiful. This table topper would be a great first time project for those wishing to try a lone star.

JAGSD 12-15-2010 03:57 AM

Absolutely beautiful!!

Love your choice of fabrics in both of your table toppers but doubly love the border fabric in the first. Stunning!

Surfergirl 12-15-2010 04:02 AM

Love them both!

beginnerquilter 12-15-2010 04:10 AM

Really beautiful! My sister requested a lone star quilt for her wedding, but I chickened out and made her a carpenter's star. I still feel bad about it.

yetta 12-15-2010 04:23 AM

I really admire your work, I would like to make a lone star but they look so dificult, matching the diagonal seams, I am working on a bella bella quilt and the diagonal seams are giving me fits...yours are great...

Lone stars are not that difficult as they look.Ok,the diagonal seams are a bit tricky, but if you're good in piecing,it will not be a problem.

Kathy-Pgh 12-15-2010 05:26 AM

Beautiful and excellent piecing. thanks for sharing

quilter64779 12-15-2010 07:26 AM

Will you give us somemeasurements for the stars and other parts and maybe we will be as lucky to come up with a beautiful table topper

Bobbinchick 12-15-2010 07:33 AM

They are both stunning. I may try that after the holidays. The "Y" seam are not that difficult to do, but can be very intimidating tho. I'm so glad I learned how to do them. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay

vwquilting 12-15-2010 07:54 AM

Those are hard to do. Pat yourself on the back for a job well done.

Parrothead 12-15-2010 08:45 AM
