i was amazed when i saw this machine and in mint condition!! even the manual is in good condition a friend im teaching to quilt found this machine at her mothers since she does not have a machine and wants to learn she is going to use this one it even has a ruffler!!!! the only thing it needs is a new belt
i just want to share the picture because its awesome
has anyone know what year this is i think maybe 1944

I was reading the other day online that you can tell by the serial # on the machine when it was made!

cool i will ask her to look she will need that info for repairs in the future i told her not to mess with the tenchion (spelling?)

What a great find and a beauty. Along with a new belt, it looks really clean but you want to make sure that she gets oiled up so she will last another lifetime.

I also have a Featherweight 221 and 2 of the original tables that they fit in. At a quilting show that I attended recently I also found a zig-zag attachment for the Featherweight. It moves the cloth back and forth, not the needle. Truly an amazing machine.
