Wow! Too much even for me, and I love orange. But any FW has its charm.

That is one orange machine.

Expensive !
|
Wow! I bet you could sew in the dark on that one!

I'm of two minds about repainting a classic. Maybe it was so hopelessly damaged that it's classic-ness was completely compromised. Even so, I'd never pay $700 for it.

Outrageous price. Did you notice the add said price is firm...geez. However someone might feel it's worth it to them. Still blind from the color...lol.

That is what I would call ugly!

I used to work at MCGraw/Edison years ago and put a million housings that color on hedge trimmers,,,BLECCCHHHH!

I'm sure the machine wasn't "ruined". People who refurbish these don't tend to paint over them unless the original paint job is in terrible condition or unless they're rusted. I've seen plenty of them for sale at quilt shows with new paint jobs in this price range. I have no idea why someone would pay that kind of money for a re-paint when you can buy the original for at least half the price.

That machine would match my husband's truck!

It's been on OK Craigslist on and off for nearly a year. No bites so far....
