My mom gave me her Viking Designer 1. I wanted a extension table for it so I took a piece of plywood cut it down and covered with contact paper. I got the idea from you wonderful ladies on the board. Eventually I want to get a Big table and put it down inside. That is going to have to wait for awhile.
Now hopefully my fmq will improve. I have a nice slippery surface.

I really wish that I got along with power tools. We don't own any here except for a drill and that isn't all too helpful for making that kind of stuff.

Very nicely made!!

Cool, and I will have to remember the contact paper for sliding!

I've GOT to get my husband to make me one like yours!!! That is AWESOME! That would make quilting so much easier. I'm so glad you shared this with everyone.

What size is it? It looks just as big if not bigger than the table I have on my Baby Lock Ellisimo! Only mine is plastic!

It is 18 x 28. The best part is it didnt cost me a thing today .. We just used things we had around the house already.. Even the contact paper.. It has been the the cupboard for 10 years
