It's way to big to frame. It does have a lot of really worn places. The sashing is so thin you can see through it. There are big holes with the batting coming through. Some one did put a lot of work in the quilt. It was the type of quilt my MIL would have made. I hung it on the fence yesterday to air out. Needs to be aired out some more. It's to worn and holey to use, but I had to rescue it. It doesn't have any meaning to me other than it was a beautiful quilt when it was new. It's still beautiful.

I washed it in a large pillow case pinned shut. Then I hung it across the fence on a matress cover pad. It turned out great. I folded it and put it across an antique rocking chair. It is so happy :D

MY COUSIN GAVE ME A QUILT TOP THAT IS BELIVED TO BE 80--100 YEARS OLD ,IT HAS HOLES IN IT NOT 2 MANY,AND IT WAS THREE BLOCKS SHORT I THINK IT IS A WEDDING RING QUILT,IT IS HAND STITCHED ,I MATCHED THE MYTERIAL THE BEST I COULD AND FILLED IN THE MISSING BLOCKS, BUT I HAVNT DONE ANYTHING ELSE TO IT ,WE THINK IT WAS OUR GREAT GREAT GRANDMOTHE R SOON AS I LEARN HOW ILL SEND PICTURES

I recently went thrift-store shopping and there were just too many quilts to rescue. Glad somebody is.
