isnt she pretty? and in great shape, no rust, etc...looks really well cared for...and now I am trying to figure out the bobbins and etc (bullet bobbins)....I need new latches for the carry case, as these arent in great shape. I also got a good handful of attachments to play with. I am pleased!

Congratulations!

One word of caution. Even if you get new latches, it's a good idea never to rely on them when carrying the machine. Those types of machines are so heavy that it's easy for the entire machine to drop out of the carrying case. (Ask me how I know.) Aside from damaging the machine, you can also damage whatever it drops on. Now I always support the bottom of the case with my hand when carrying.

Beautiful machine - glad that she has gone to a good mommy.

I have seen the long bobbins at - of all places - Hancock Fabrics. They are stocked along with all of the other bobbins. As long as you have the carrier you are set to go. I have stitched on a machine that took the shuttle bobbins and luckily had the owner available to do the adjustments. BUT it is very tedious to wind the bobbins. They don't have the regulator button that adjusts the feed on to the bobbin. My friend who owned the machine said that that was the hardest thing to adjust to.
