It is almost 9". I think most ads say 9" but when I measure it was 8 7/8" They didn't miss it by much. LOL. Love having the extra room.

Happy anniversary. It makes me very jealous with all these wonderful and thoughtful husbands I buy my own no husband. I have that machine it is wonderful have fun playing.
