That's it, start them young. Now they share your talent.

Just to cute .What kind of machines are they ? I was looking for a small one for my GD and the ones I checked said they weren't worth buying, so I let her sew on my little machine, which is a Janome. But...she can't take it home.

Those look like the little Touch and Sew from Singer. They are great little machines because they actually have a bobbin and make regular sewing stitches, not just a chain stitch that can be pulled out. I have one and have let my gd's sew on it. Those kids look so proud. Good going, Grandma

Aww, how nice! They look so proud. And you should be too!

How cute is that! And what a wonderful "granny" you are by buying them their own machines!!

Way to go! Great job from two future quilters. Bet they can't wait to do that again.

How wonderful. They really look like they had fun, and are hooked. Good job Grandma.

Fantastic way for the kids to learn they can create something and have fun doing it.

i looked all thru this thread to see if i could find the name of those little sewing machines. finally saw it. i will keep my eye out for them, just to see them. i taught a 4-H group of 10 yr olds one year, so i know the patience you had with your little grandkids. way to go grandma. they sure are lucky to have you. and what great fun, you all had.

Oh, my goodness. I would love to teach my 6 yr. old great granddaughter how to sew and see that same precious look on her face. And they have their own little machines...how cute is that. They did such a wonderful job. Applause for them...
