I don't know if the seams are supposed to match exactly or not -
I've heard that Bali Pops are sometimes cut into irregular widths - who would think to check on something so spendy for accuracy and/or consistency? and if so, that could have made your blocks somewhat wonky when you sewed the strips together. The colors are luscious - makes me think of melons, berries, and other fruits. |
looks great. Most bought jelly rolls are not perfect.I made a quilt with them and things did not line up.they were off 1/4 to 1/2 in inch in places.I cut my own now

I agree with what many others have said, "We are our own worst critics sometimes." I personally like it and often when I don't like my quilt on the design wall once it is quilted it has taken on a new life it's own.
For only have made five quilts, don't get discouraged. Law of averages, you will really, really like your next one! |
I think you are being too hard on yourself, I love the colors and I don't see any problems. Your eye will go to a problem because you know it is there but most people will not even see it. Have you ironed the quilt? Sometimes you can fix wonky blocks. Go to You Tube and watch the tut from Sharon Schambers about fixing wonky blocks.

I think it looks beautiful and I'm with the others stand back if you can't see it no one else will. We are always our own worst critics we want everything we do to be perfect, trust me it looks way better than the time I tried to do those pinwheels you'd see my errors 20ft back lol

I think it looks great. I don't see the non matching points. I think ur too critical of yourself.

Your quilt is fabulous, love the colors!

I like it. I don't know what the original pattern looks like but I like this. I especially like the martini glass toward the upper right. Even though it was accidental because of colors selected.
