I would use the lighter color myself. It really lets the dark colors in the quilt to pop. The darker colors seem to drown out the colors in the body of the quilt.

I love the quilt, and think the white print is the best for it!!

I kind of like the pinkish floral print. It seems to frame in your beautiful center very nicely.

Beautiful job! But.....shouldn't you just shop for more fabric???

(I think I like the green best.)

I like all your colors and patterns. I prefer the green.

I love the green.

Thank you all for the suggestions. I love the dark look. I think I will either try the scrappy idea. It means I am going to have to ruin the other half of the HST that went along with these that I had planned for another quilt or maybe use the dark blue that I used for the Y&B swap. I will wait if that is the case until I have the two quilts done that I have planned for those blocks. I have lots of time right?

i would use all the darker colors. starting with the red, which is already there, then a medium width green then a narrow blue. keep it scrappy looking.

Beautiful quilt! I like the idea of a darker border(s) also...

That's a good idea. The red border will finish at 1". What do you think the green and blue should finish at??

Kyia :-)
