This Looks Weird
 

Years ago I went to a Ricky Tims seminar. When I came home, I made a Convergence Quilt block to try out his technique and put it away in a closet. Our guild needed some more baby quilts for charity. I randomly added some leftover scraps around the block and quilted it with straight lines. Hopefully, some mother will like it. I think it looks weird.

it is lovely. i had a robe when my son was a baby. white with small diamonds or some shape all over in blues and reds.His eyes danced when looking at those. Someone's baby will love this quilt!!

I agree with you about the brown border. It's too big. That was part of the finished block that I originally made. I needed more length and width so I didn't cut it off.

I think it's got a unique, modern vibe.

I love the brown border - it gives the quilt some snap :) The colors are great and I am sure someone will love it.
