They are all lovely. You have been busy. Thanks for sharing.

Great job on all. I have the gazing cat pattern I am going to make as Christmas gifts for a couple of RN's in my office. Different color of course.

The mysteries are fabulous as is your batik leaders & enders... oh, I love them all! And congrats on making such a huge dent in your UFO's! I have at least 32... wanna take a swipe at mine, too? LOL!

No thanks...I have about 32 more, but decided for this year, the first 32 was all I can manage...I'm sure there will be more to add to the pile next year too...I keep starting new things along with finishing them! :)

For all that like that mystery quilt...I made a couple changes on mine...but the pattern is free on the site. The 1st one was all one fabric...it had large stripes in the colors, so I was able to use it & only it. I think the site is http://erikhomemade.typepad.com Another mystery is just starting. I have done all his mysteries...they turned out nicely. This one is called "Benjamin Franklin Mystery Quilt"; it's done as a scrappy and in BOM form once a month on Mondays. Read up on it & see if you'd like to do it. His mysteries are great for using scraps...WHICH WE ALL HAVE! :)

I love that pattern...I simply did 4 of them to make the quilt a nice throw size.

They are all beautiful. How happy you must be to be getting that pile to go down. When you are all caught up, if you're feeling alone with nothing to do - I'll send you mine! :)

Some will be kept, some sold, & some donated. They never go to waste. Basically, I love doing the tops...I have to be in the mood to quilt & bind them, so I let them build up till I'm in the mood. :)

You go, Girl!! It'd be nice if you could zap some of that energy, determination, and "stick-to-it-iveness" my way down here in Cajun land. Your quilts are gorgeous!

vintagemotif 07-07-2012 11:00 AM

All are pretty and nicely done! I love how you bordered around French Rails in the firs two quilts, creatively done.

Helen S 07-07-2012 11:01 AM

You HAVE been busy! They're beautiful! I really like the mystery quilt pattern a lot.

golfer 07-07-2012 11:25 AM

What an endeavor! Beautiful job1 It has been extremely hot in Maryland, and I too, have been putting a dent in my ufo's. Not everything has involved quilting but house duties.

IzzysGrammie 07-07-2012 11:50 AM

The first three quilts are my favorites! My sister loves cats so I may be making something similar for her. You have certainly been cleaning up UFO's!!! Good luck on the other 16!!

http://www.craftandfabriclinks.com/appcat/catwall.html I love this pattern so much that I substituted it for the June BOM here on the quiltingboard. I changed it up a bit though. Also, the original pattern is 16" block, so now I had to make all my BOM's 16" so added borders on them all. See June BOM post.
