true :)

I traveled around the province of Ontario in 2006 for a couple weeks in October. It was great fun and the people were so friendly and helpful. I am planning to go back in 2011 for at least two weeks.

Let me know if you are coming into Ontario again and I can give you the lowdown on the area

true. I've rarely seen fabric like that here... we did have some american print fabric a while ago at my store, it didn't sell very well, lol!

Yes I did buy that here in the USA, right here in NC. When I saw it I had to get it. I LOVE Canada.

That fabric was quite a find!

Being in NC... do you have an advantage over the rest of us in that there's a history of textile mills in the Carolinas?

Could be there is a bit of an advantage due to our textiles history. You know my other passion is genealogy and I have found that many of my relatives from around 1880 to 1920 worked in the textile mills of our area. So I read up on Textiles here in NC and was fascinated by Mill life and work.

If you ever do see anything like it, let me know. I am always on the look out for Canada related fabric.

Thanks. It's wonderful to see positive comments about Canada from our American friends. I love it here. I also love to visit the U.S. A group of us are heading to Puyallup Washington to the Sewing and Stitchery Expo at the end of February. Can't wait!
