Low Volume Quilt

4 Attachment(s)
This is a king size Low Volume quilt I made for hubby and me. Its displayed on a queen size bed. It was quilted by one of my favorite quilters in Portland. It was lots of fun to make. I was able to use fabrics from my stash and buy a few new ones to go with it! I wanted it to be 2 quilts in one so the back is very different looking than the front. I love the old fashion look of it. Thanks for looking.

Very subtle and very beautiful. Sometimes less is so much more. Congrats on a beautiful quilt.

Low volume was not a term I had heard for quilts, but I suspect this is a prime example. Nicely done.

Your quilt is beautiful on both sides! I love the peaceful colors on the first side & the back is nice and bold! Great job & great quilting also.

It does look so much like the quilts i inherited from my grandmother....which were made in the 20's and 30's....and have faded a bit. Very very pretty. We have so many choices in color and fabric now that I think we forget sometimes how sweet and pleasing quilts like this can be. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, I really like your low volume quilt! It looks so soft and aged. The back side also makes a nice quilt - a great two-fer.

Nicely done. Sometimes two is better than one. BrendaK

Cute and a good idea to make it reversible. I like to do that sometimes too.
So it's a snowball/9 patch? Like those pastel colors
