Lucky March Table Runners

5 Attachment(s)
These runners are the last two projects I was able to squeeze out before my rotator cuff surgery, nearly 4 weeks ago. It's killing me to look at the pile of scraps and UFO's on my sewing table without being able to do anything about them! A few days ago I discovered that I can crochet without moving my shoulder, so off to the races I went, lol. Hope I not breaking the rules by posting non-quilty things.

Love your table runners, the scarves are great also. Where did you find patterns for them.

All are very pretty! So sorry you are having shoulder trouble. Hope the problem will soon be resolved and you can get back to making quilts. I tend to alternate between quilting and crochet so I don't get bored with one craft.

Thank you! The runners are the simple French Braid pattern, found online. The gray scarf was an afghan stitch I adapted for the scarf, the burgundy scarf pattern was a freebie from JoAnn's called "Shore Thing", and the infinity scarf was my own design.

Those are the same patterns, although I used 2 1/2" strips on the runner. The scarf works up very easily and is fun to do.

Your table runners are very pretty! I should make one for my Irish DIL. I love the crocheted scarves, too. I used to crochet but haven't in years. May have to take it up again!

I hope your shoulder is healing well. Do as the doctors say!

After removal of a bone from my wrist followed by a tvt operation about 6months later I had to do as many craft projects as possible. I was knitting sewing crochet etc. both are beginning to improve slowly. Do as you are told and in no time you wil be sewing.. I also trolled the web to find notions to help me with problems . Ie sewing one handed. I found a bird to hold fabric at times, rulers which held fabric without moving. Keep coming here as well for a look at new projects for the future.

Those are all great ideas, thank you. Good luck with your continued recovery!
