Lush Iris quilt
 

This quilt began with the center panel of an iris, which I bought during a recent shop hop. The fabric is by Northcott and is called Lush. I designed the quilt with EQ8, pieced it using fabrics from my stash, and quilted it on my longarm. The pictures are before I finished sewing the binding down by hand. I also noticed an area that hadn't been quilted (center left) and returned the quilt to the frame (even after it was washed) to finish.

Dunster -- so beautiful! the pattern you made is great and the quilting is exquisite. I love the interplay of the squares on point around the Iris and then along the border set up just a little bit differently. There are so many levels of style interplay here.
