The quilt is beautiful and the candle mat is so springy and cheerful. Maybe it will chase the cold away!

They must have been very short tubes to get all the variety.

Blue Bell 12-30-2009 02:30 PM

Love your quilt and the scrappy look. It is awesome.
Your candle mat is nicely done, as well.

You have been busy again. I love the wall hanging. That will never go out of style. I was just admiring my gift from you not ten minutes ago and here you are posting more projects finished. Sheesh! I just cut and have half together four placemats that are pieced. I got tired and had to quit and here are your FINISHED projects. Do you ever rest?

sewnsewer2 12-30-2009 04:42 PM

Those are great!

Nancy in Louisiana 12-31-2009 02:34 PM

All that SINCE CHRISTMAS?!?!?! I only just now "found" my sewing room. Beautiful work.

AkAngel 12-31-2009 02:53 PM

Wow, I really like both of these. How does the tube method work? I did a pillow case using a tube method, would it be the same? I really like your focus fabric in your table topper very pretty, it makes me long for spring, speaking of which I'm waiting for the Spring block exchange, anxiously I might add.

Riversong: Your blocks are gorgeous. I've lived awhile and have quilted awhile but I've NEVER heard of "Tube" quilting???? Is that something like "quilt as you go" or what is it? I'm sure this is a very dumb questions but I really have no idea what that is.

Sparky 01-02-2010 08:23 PM

The tube method is an easy method of making a block. Here is the link so you can watch the video.
