Last project I did with out any clear plan just began to play with scraps joining, cutting in circles then patched them with patting under and with sewing machine was attached to the beige background .
Quilted as usual with out binding Now do you like it in its place ? does it match the sofa? This is close and full runner |
Very creative!

Great use of scraps.
That looks really fun to do!
I LOVE this! I am going to save this idea!!
So pretty! Looks like it was fun to do.
Thank you ladies for your nice comment but I asked a question if you may answer : Does it match the sofa ??
I like that effect.
Not a match, not that it would matter to me. If you wanted a match, a blue background would have worked well. |
very nice job!!!
beautiful tablerunner with the circles. great idea
It looks beautiful :)
Very creative. I'm saving scraps and hope to one day play around and come up with something different. I wouldn't say it "matches" the sofa, but I do think it compliments the sofa. I like the added color to your space. Great job!

A different way of using up scraps. My quilting buddy and I generally do the Mile a Minute method to use up scraps. I've made so many of those quilts that I'm kind of burnt out on them but my friend keeps making them.

Cute use of scraps. I like the name of your runner to.
I think it accents the sofa very well. I am not one for matchy-matchy decor. I prefer casual natural-looking surroundings rather than a stiff and proper setting.
Doesn't match, but doesn't clash. It compliments the blue and white sofa.
Love it!! Such a great design for scraps and my Go circle die!
That is a darling way to use up scraps. I love this idea. You did a great job. As to whether it should stay where it is becomes dependent on ones own personal opinion. If you like it where it is the it should stay there. Good job.
Neat idea. And of course it matches the sofa!
What a beautiful, creative idea! Love it!
Very cute and I think it compliments the sofa.
The colors match the sofa but it's like wearing striped pants with a polka dot blouse. If it blends in with the rest of your decor than I'd say it's fine especially if you like it.
No. It doesn't match the couch. I think you know that...but wanted confirmation of your instincts. I'll bet you have another place or two in your home that this piece will compliment nicely. Also, it's too big for the table. A table that size would do better with a runner with the triangle tips just reaching the ends and about 2" from the edge on each side. It looks like you have a lot of nice scraps. I see patterns in the fabric in some circles that would go nicely with the couch if they were more prominent. If you want something to go with the couch, a different background would help, too. Perhaps something on the grey-blue side? If you use this elsewhere and make another I hope you will share it with us. Can't wait to see what you design.

It doesn't match your sofa but it goes well with it. Your beige background will go with most everything. I really like it. Very creative
Very fun. I like the circles as a contrast to the stripes of the couch, too.
No it doesn't 'match' the sofa....matching is ok for some people, not for others. I prefer an eclectic style 'matchy matchy' reminds me of furniture catalogues....not the environments of the creative. Great runner.
A fun table topper. I like your scrappy circles.
Very creative use of scraps! No, it does not match your sofa.
Very cute!!!
It doesn't "match" the sofa but compliments it. I think its too large for on that table. Perhaps you can lay it over the back of the couch, or across the arm. I'd make a pillow or two like the runner. Since you already have the solid beige pillows I think a circle one like the runner would bring it all together. Its very pretty.

Cute idea....
