llweezie, I scanned the original artwork into my computer. I then printed the scanned picture onto muslin (backed by freezer paper) using my HP inkjet printer. My printer allowed me to print the photo with a white border, which is the quarter inched need for the seams. I then heat-set the print. That was it. Nothing else. I had thought about enhancing a couple of the colors with crayons because they didn't print very dark, but decided not to edit Ruby's picture.

It's really an easy process and I bet your grandchildren would love receiving something made from their artwork. Go for it and let us see your projects!
