I absolutely love it! I looked at that book but decided I wasn't ready for that yet. However, I did buy Ricky Tims' Convergance Quilts that I hope to try soon.

It really wasn't that hard to be honest with you. I made mistakes just because I was in a hurry to get it done. I won't make those mistakes when I make the next one I'm sure of that! I'm going to try and make a smaller one to show off in class that is mistake free.

It isn't too terribly hard of a quilt. I think you'd be fine if you take your time and follow his instructions. The book itself is written and illustrated very well.

There are no y seams at all in this. It looks more complicated than it really is to be honest with you.

It is Ricky Timm's Kool Kaleidoscope quilt. Every one you make is totally different depending on the angles you cut your strips and the way you design your wedge. I'm looking forward to starting my next one :D
