Yup, that was the name of the pattern I used on my First Quilt.

You see I am a beginner, tho my Gram, Mother & Aunts all quilted and I was exposed early in life.. Now I finally have time to do what I was told to do..

Is this the quilt that Fonds and Porter had on the TV series one time. I have been looking for it ever since I saw the show with no luck. Is it the quilt as you go pancake quilt? If so, where did you find the pattern?

Yes it is the same pattern..and they have a website with the instructions. I can't remember it now,,but google fonds & porter.

I made my own circle pattern from clear plastic sheet.. It started as a 7" circle.. It called for batting, but that got really "heavy" so I skipped batting and just sandwiched the 2 pieces of fabric together.. Cotton for Summer weight & flannel for Winter weight covering.

You cut a small hole in one side near an edge then turn the pancake right side out. After having enough for your quilt..about 156 for a regular size bed, you start putting rows of pancakes together. The cut out should be covered over when you fold the joining of 2 pancakes.
PM me if you have any further questions. Judy
