Making progress on my Dear Jane
 

Sorry for all my recent post on my dear jane quilt i hope you dont get sick of seeing them. I made some progress on putting it together, thanks to all of you for the encouragment on getting this one done. With every row i add i am getting more and more excited to see it completed. I used all batiks in this and as you can tell i randomly chose fabrics thus the reason i have some of the same fabric close to each other. The next one i make will def be more planned out. Never the less i am still very very pleased with how this is turning out and growing

I am guessing that Jane A. Stickle made her blocks (or maybe did block exchanges?) over several years - because the block sizes vary - and that she arranged them after she had them all made.

Every block is so vastly different I don't think it will matter is the same fabrics end up next to each other.

It's gorgeous and I see no problem with same fabrics being next to each other. With each block being different it's not even noticeable. Next one? You mean you'll do this again? Wow! You have a lot of patience! Not to mention talent.
