your QUILT is beautiful. I love the dresden and did one a long time ago very similiar to this with scrappy pieces. Keep up the QUILTING you did a marvelous job.

Look at the heritage quilts ..... no long arm stitching and filled with whatever they had available, used or new. You have one precious and beautiful quilt! ENJOY it !!!!! .... and put your brain on IGNORE for those who are quilt ignorant! |
I think it is simply stunning. There are no quilt police so who cares if it doesn't conform to the traditional quilting methods!! It is beautiful! I have always wanted to make a dresden plate quilt. I just bought the template for it this week. After the 30 other projects I have left to do this one is next!!

If it's not a quilt what is it? Of course it's a quilt, and it is DEFINITELY colorful and beautifully crafted and something to be treasured. She will love it.
