At age 13, this is a memory that will live on forever, whether or not she becomes a quilter. Great job grandma. By the way, the quilt and quilter are beautiful !

What a wonderful, and useful, tradition. I'm sure this is an experience never to be forgotten. One whole week of undivided attention from an adult who loves them is a rarity for kids with lots of other kids in the family. Very special.
