It will then be hand quilted. My mother isn't "crafty" but does understand the effort involved, and will appreciate it when its finished. It will be 60" when finished, and I'm hoping she will use it for either a bed topper or over the back of the couch. I'm doing this project as a huge thank-you, for her coming down to look after me after emergency surgery. At short notice she took time off work, and drove 7 hours to be with me. She looked after my every need; cooking, cleaning, shopping, dishes, chauferring, etc... I had post op complications and infections, and it took about 2 weeks before I was able to stand long enough to make my own meals again. Anyway that's just a bit of background to explain why I'm putting so much time into it. Bootsie |
