Did this yesterday. Very big and roomy. Great for shopping. Thought I would take it to Rome with me and carry all the souveniers that I buy. Besides it will hold lots of books and magazines for the long plane ride. I like the fact that it has a pocket for carrying cell phone, wallet, whatever, so that I won't need to carry a regular purse. Very easy to do, however the pattern said "Batting optional." Without the batting it was much too flimsy. Think I'll make a few for Christmas gifts and encourage people to stop using plastic. I used belt webbing for the handle but you could use fabric. Might try that on the next one.

Very nice, love the colors. Did you use a pattern?
