May the 4th be with you - It's Star Wars Day
1 Attachment(s)
My 5 yr. old Grandson, Noah is a big Star Wars fan and I received a text from him this morning wearing the Jedi robe I made him, wishing me a Happy Star Wars day. He and I collaborated on a fabric Star Wars Death Star wallhanging for his room and I wanted to post and share it on Star Wars Day.

That is so great. It's fun when the little one is involved. My great-nephew went to a fabric store with his mom and found some Star Wars fabric, he was asking his mom to make him a blanket with it. She doesn't do things like that yet but it was so cute watching him carry the bolt of fabric around the store she took a picture of it, sent it to me. I was able to find the fabric here in San Diego and made him a quilt with a matching pillow case. He was so excited.

How great that your could do this together!

he'll love the Death Star you made for him. My son was into Star Wars at that age, everyday hed's play with his light saber
while watching the movie. they are so cute at that age. |
May the 4th be with you, Today is my youngest son Frankie's Birthday. May God be with him

Nicely done!

It's kind of fun to see the Star Wars Legacy continue thru a generation. My son is 35 and loved Star Wars. Now, he has 3 sons who also love Star Wars. For me, it's so heart-warming to see my son's little ones battling it out with their Star Wars Lasers and of course ME, pulling them in a wagon as we fly thru the galaxy in search of Tuscan Raiders (or Tuscan Rangers)...........Unfortunately, I'm getting older, so the journeys thru the backyard galaxy require a resting lap in between!!!

That is cute. Who would have thought when I watched the first released Star Wars in the theater that decades later there would be an unofficial holiday for the movie.
|
How very cute that is.

I really like your Star Wars Death Star and I am glad you had so much expert help to make it. I know it will be enjoyed. When one of my grandsons (now 21) was four years old his dad took him to a special showing of a new Star Wars movie at which people wore costumes. I had made him a Luke Skywalker costume (complete in every way!) Someone told him he made a cute Luke Skywalker and he said, "I don't look like Luke Skywalker, I am Luke Skywalker." That drew lots of laughter and cheers. What fun.

He's going to think you're one super Grandma.
|
so wonderful for some one so young to be into something so old. lol
