Oh my you have been busy. Nice job.
Love the bags. Beautiful color combination.
I am inspired! You did a beautiful job!
Your bags are beautiful. What inspiration for someone like me, who has been hesitant to try one.
I don't know about the 'lighter thread' issue, but what I like about your bags is that they have light, bright linings. I hate black interiors...can't find a thing. Of course, if I'd clean out my purse more, I might have better luck.
What great bags! I really like your fabric choices.
Great. You will have a thriving bag business. Like the variety and colors.:):):)
Love them, I thought about trying to make one but haven't yet. they are sure pretty.
Nice work!!
Very nice! I have bought a purse pattern - just haven't made one yet. You have inspired me to do so. TFS!!

Great bags, no wonder they are selling like hot cakes.
Very pretty bags :)
Love your fabrics. It is wonderful that you have found a product that you are able to sell.
Your 'bragging' is well earned. Your bags are great.
ADORABLE!!! Great job!
Really nice bags. Reminds me that I have two planned, fabric chosen, but nothing more...just sitting there waiting for me...
You have every rite to brag. Those are awsome. Great job!!!!
Very clever. Good luck with your business.

I have made two of the same bag in the last two days. I have an order for 15 of them and have 6 done so far. I love the pattern, and since I am color challenged, I bought charm square packs and a matching fabric for the lining. I see you have had several people ask what you sell them for. I really think you are avoiding the question, but I would like to have the answer as well. I will probably figure up my cost for material and double that. Is that a fair price to ask? I figure my time isn't worth as much as some people think theirs is.
Very nice; especially like the one with the bears.
Great job! Thanks for sharing!

they are all nice good job!!!
keep up the good work:thumbup:

Thanks so much everyone. Ha... no I wasn't avoiding the question. I sell the large totes for $40 and the small ones for 20. I'm going to start making a medium one that I'll sell for $30
I'm sure not making even min wage making these but they're fun and I'm using up my stash for the most part. Even tho I did buy some more fabric today. |
And as far as where I got the bear fabric. I'm not sure, I've had it a while. But I think it's Holly Taylor
I like them.
They are wonderful! I am so glad that you finding such success.
Veru nice bags.
Brag away - the bags look very pretty.
Wow! You've been a busy lady!!! Very nice, too!
Those are beautiful. As for the thread color,I sometimes coordinate and sometimes contrast.I think it is everyones personal choice. That I would think it that designers choice.

She said to use thread that the color either matched perfectly or blended so it wasn't noticeable at all. The only time stitches should be seen on fabric purses are when it was for contrasting topstitching or decoration. Details are what makes an item go from looking homemade to looking professionally handmade. It wasn't a quilting class it was a class from a boutique who sold handmade accessories from designers. |
