I was one of the ones who tested Carla's pattern for the maze quilt. My grandson has already claimed it for his own. I did mine in shades of green (his fave color), and I think I'm going to put another border on it so it'll be a little bigger for him. I'm calling mine Through the Garden Maze. It's not wonky on the bottom, just hanging that way :-D :-D I think it might be upside down.

You might try PM-ing mcb1180. I don't know if she still is looking for people to test her pattern or not.

that's a great quilt pattern. takes me back to the days when i spent time at my great aunts. she put quilts on my bed and i'd pretend they were roads and followed the designs around..

How fun! That is really a unique pattern. I can imagine it with a mouse and cat trying to "play"

Thanks everyone. I take no credit for anything except color choice. It's a very user friendly quilt pattern. Kudos to the designer!!!!!

Joanie Owen 07-22-2011 06:03 AM

I got a copy of that quilt on www.piecemealquilt.wordpress.org
Hope that works for you. The name of the quilt is Pauline at that address. Put the name Pauline in the search section and it come right up.

No, I used a couple of small (7 each) fat eighth bundles I already had. But I think it would work up with charms ok. You'd just need 81 charm squares to do it. I think it would be cute to have lots of florals or even I-spy type blocks.

cuppi duke 07-22-2011 06:09 AM

I love it. Love your color choices too.

lauriejo 07-22-2011 06:14 AM

I was thinking it would be pretty with asian florals.

Yes, after I've received feedback from all my testers and make any necessary corrections/updates to the patter, I do plan to sell it on Ebay and Etsy. Soon as it's ready, I'll add a note on my request for testers on the main forum.

C :-)

I absolutely have to have that pattern as soon as it's available. That's EXACTLY what I need to make a great grandson who is CRAZY over cars (his dad is a ProMod race driver) If it has wheels, he's happy, is all he ever wants to play with.

Have a blessed evening.
