Oh my goodness, brought tears to my eyes, my mom also passed on Mar. 12th, but in 2009, I have all her clothes, and have been wondering what to make for my three sisters and brothers as a momentum. What a great idea and job you did on those purses, your sisters will love them.

A guild sister of mine made lap quilts for her brothers and sisters (6!) with fabric prints from the family albums. those were enjoyed too.

Beautiful. I think I never would be able to use a purse like that without crying. My mom passed away 13 years ago and I still miss her every day.

Great job. Those purses are just wonderful. Question though, the dress came through as being black and gold or tan. The purses look blue though. Which color is right? No matter the color they are still beautiful. Great job on your part!

Fantastic idea! You all will REALLY be 'carry'n your mother with you' every time you use them!
