Your quilt is wonderful. It is a little embarrassing that I live down the road from the Whims factory and haven't visited or made one though. :p

What a wonderful way to remember Pummie. I too have a black cat and although TJ is an indoor only cat, he's very good at trying to catch the squirrels that run around in the back yard of our building. My sympathies in the loss of Pummie, cats can really become an integral part of our lives and they are there to help us laugh and to help us when we're sad.

That is really beautiful, we have a black cat that has one eye that has adopted us. I call him Black Jack! So sorry about your loss because I know that somehow they become a part of you. <3

Really nice remembrance. I have to start on my Westie quilt one of these days. So close to getting there I can almost taste it if you know what I mean. Always something else that needs my quilting skills and not enough time to work on something for myself.

the time consuming part was placing the two inch squares together - it was like a jumbo puzzle.

Love the quilt and your terminology (rainbow bridge) the term reminds me of my youngest... Her epitaph is "somewhere over the rainbow is where you'll find me."
