I've been so busy working on projects to give to othere people! I finally finished all those, and decided to make a lap quilt for me! The pattern is called Homeward Bound, and I made if from a jelly roll of Kansas Troubles' Wildflower Serenade--I love these fabrics! The flowers in the big squares are all hand quilted, then I just machine stitched in the ditch to finish it off. Not my strong point, but I'm happy with the outcome.

Thats lovely the colours are great.
This may seem to you all a silly question but when you stitch in the ditch on your machine do you sew right onto the join or just to one side.

Thank you babeegirl, I am getting some quilting gloves tomorrow, yes I got them and then handed them over to my DH as part of my present along with some other bits and bobs, so will be having a go on my new machine on Boxing Day.
