I have had these blocks for over a year now and didn't know what to do with them. Thanks for the inspiration. The only quilt I have seen done had black sashing and wasn't very Chrismasy. Sounds like Tim is addicted to quilting. Good for him, it's a great pastime. Thank you both for sharing.

These quilts were actually made from kits put together by Robert Kaufman. I had pre-ordered them the early part of last year prior to the release of the fabrics. My MIL and Tim are both HUGE Grinch fans and I just knew the quilts would be perfect for both of them! Here is a link to the pattern that was included in the kit but is also free on the Robert Kaufman site http://www.robertkaufman.com/quiltin...s_panel_quilt/

I also love this grinch quilt and I have a ggranddaughter who loves the grinch and I would love to have some of this material to make her a quilt. Could you pass on the fabric name and maker? I would much appreciate it. Thank you for sharing this with us and I am happy you and your friend had a great sewing, quilting time together.
