I took the advice many quilters here, I quilted a diagonal grid, outlined appliqués and worked with a gray thread. Thank you all for your help. I do try to learn something new on each quilt I make. I have learned that I can't sew a straight line or make a circle even with a guide!! My echo quilting needs the most work! Even with all the problems I've never had anyone refuse a quilt so I guess I'll keep going!
