That is a beautiful quilt. I do have her book, now that I know the title.

the book is called, Millefiori Quilts Willyne Hammerstein. There is a page on Face Book with lots of information of where to buy the book etc. You have to join. FB page also gives you lots of help for those who need it

Absolutely gorgeous quilt!!

Rosyhf, The book you mention, 'Millefiori Quilts' by Willyne Hammerstein, is a good one for a different millefiori quilt pattern. The pattern pictured at the beginning of this thread I believe is from the book 'The New Hexagon - 52 blocks to English paper piece' by Katja Marek.

I have her book and also each section is sold for pp by paper pieces.com. Also on Katjas website she did have actually schematics of each section..don't know if still there......this is on my list.....

[QUOTE=Rosyhf;7768485]Thank you for posting that. I was looking for something intriguing and this is it. I did a search and found the cheapest book on Etsy...Millefiori Quilts Willyne Hammerstein. I also found the plastic templates on Etsy. I can't wait to get started as I am getting bored with my pickled ladies....lol[/

that Mille is a bit different from Katjas. Actually, I think hammersteins was first..may be wrong......last time I looked, her book was going for $50...you find a better deal?

I would love to work on this, but doing it alone, I know it would end up a UFO......I wish a group would form near me.....it would be fun to work on with others...sort of a push/motivation/let's have fun doing this...
