Rhonda's extreme mini's prompted me to try my hand at these! The rectangular is 1/4" finished logs; the squares 1/8" finished logs. Will I do the small ones again? Not sure... :roll:

Love them. They would look good on my small tree I leave up. That would be good to use in between the holidays. Never thought about that idea. Going to have to cramp my fingers and make these for my tree. lol lol

These would be great keychains or luggage tags or hang them in the window like a suncatcher or christmas tree ornaments or if you collect dolls you can set them on the doll's lap and make it look like she made it. The lady I sold to in Kalona use to lay the 2 1/2" quilt blocks I make on the 7"? Amish doll's lap to make it look like she made it.

If anyone is going to try this one way of doing it would be to start with a larger piece of fabric and sew two together for the center and then trim it to size, Add the next one the same way and trim it down instead of cutting the strip to 7/8" or whatever size you would need. That way you have a bigger piece to hang onto as you work with it.
