Personnally I would not add any appliqués, you did a tremendous job on all those small pieces.

It is a beautiful quilt and the appliqué flowers and stems is a great addition. I'm glad you are feeling well enough to finish your wonderful project. I have not been to a retreat yet, but I look forward to one someday.
