Someone posted a picture of this a few days ago and I had to make one. My cat loves to sleep on my quilted purses so I made this for her. Very easy,no need to measure or even sew straight and you can use up some scraps.

That's a lovely quilt. Thanks for the reminder. I had planned to make one of those but had forgotten about it.

I guess you have to get the model to lay on it. Where is the lovable 4-legged creature?

Your kitty quilt is darling, but I wanted to see a picture of your kitty enjoying her new quilt! Please send a pic!

I love the ticker tape quilts. I've made several, and have donated a few to the local women's shelter. It's a great way to use up scraps. I don't even bind mine, I just use the birthing method, then sew the fabrics on. Works up real quickly.

Great little quilt.

Lucky kitty - I'm sure she'll love it!

She has not discovered it yet

Thanks for sharing.

I need to make one for my Fluffy. He's been sick lately. He's about 14 years old. He knows when I'm not feeling good and he will come crawl up right by me in bed and reach his paw up as if to comfort me.

Love it.

Cute

debcavan 07-06-2011 07:10 PM

Yes, she definitely wanted one. And she should have her own.

It is pretty. I hope she likes it.

That is so cute and it shows how much you love your kitty. My dog Maggie has a floor quilt, just two 18" squares with batting. She knows that when I tell her that I am going out and she is NOT coming with me, she lays down on the quilt and
says "good bye and please come back soon"
I also made her a fractured 9 patch quilt for the bottom of my partner's bed where she sleeps only when the temp is low!

My cat loves to cuddle up on every quilt I have made. I don't know a cat that doesn't love quilts. You made a nice quilt for you cat. Lowell ;)
