I cannot imagine how you work with such tiny pieces :mrgreen: You do such nice work I also made and sold two twin size Sunbonnet Sue quilts in pinks for a nurse I met in the hosp when I was staying with my dying grandma at nights 12 yrs ago. I just find the large projects too much time invested and don't like the big seams!!! LOL When I first started sewing 30 yrs ago I made a twin size quilt with a bolt of brown burlap my mom had given me. I appliqued letters and numbers all over it for my 5 yr old at the time. I backed it with muslin and used an old blanket for the batting and tied it. That was my first real quilt. |
