My daughter's employer is having the store do some fund-raisers for an organization that pays for phone calls between our soldiers overseas and their families. She asked me yesterday to make a quilt. She works as a cosmetologist at a store called Sportclips. They primarily do men's haircuts and are a sports-themed facility. Since she works in Columbia, Missouri, I made a quilt from fabric for the Mizzou Tigers (my alma matre). I like how it turned out. Now to sandwich and quilt. Hope it makes them some money.

That is so beautiful, it should provide an abundance of cell phone minutes. What a great fund raising idea. Thank you!

My husband and I met there in grad school. My sister and bil still live there.....and of course my daughter, SIL and granddaughter live there. I go to Columbia nearly every week to provide child care. Zoey will be 6 months old tomorrow. Hard to believe.
