thanks sondray, i got the pattern from watching it on FONS AND PORTER. i recorded the show on DVR and just kept referring to it. i made notes and kept the pattern from the first one i make and enlarged it for this one.
i think they called it a peek-a-boo quilt. |
saravincent, i wish i could tell you how many hours i have in this project, but i lost track of the hours. it took about 5 just to cut all the circles. that is about the most time consuming part. all the rest probably took another 20 or so hours total. i have another that i am making and plan to keep closer track of the time.

very nice can you share your pattern

It's great nana! I love how you used the stripe, really adds a terrific graphic element to the circles.

Great quilt! A 'mock' cathedral window...I've heard of it b4 and probably saw it on simply quilts or something. I really like it! Makes a great I spy quilt for kids.
thanks for sharing sue |
I love it! Would you share the pattern and directions?

Very nice.

dodie and judyjo, the directions for the mock cathedral window have been given in this forum. as a matter of fact if you do a search on "mock cathedral window" my first one will come up and if you scroll down you will find very good directions from patrice. there isn't really a pattern just directions. it is fun and really easy. good luck.

Wow very nice job. To hard for me, but you made it look simple.

Thank you. I found Patrice's directions. I tried a search before but didn't find it. Guess I just didn't scroll down far enough. I've done the real cathedral windows....now I'm going to put this one on my "to do" list of things to do. That "to do" list keeps getting longer and longer.
Thanks again...all the quilts are beautiful! Judyjo |
